Letter from Our Chapter President

Hi there! Welcome to the Gamma Phi Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta at Georgia Tech! My name’s Kristin, and I have the privilege of serving as our Chapter President. I am so excited that you’re interested in learning more about our sisterhood, and I hope you get a glimpse of what makes Gamma Phi so special to me and the rest of our chapter!!!

I was always hesitant about joining a sorority, especially being a POC and hearing about the stereotypes surrounding Greek life. But I can truthfully say that Alpha Gam — and the rest of the CPC community — is filled with nothing but kind, empowering, inclusive, and inspirational women. Whether we’re making paper lanterns for Lunar New Year, roller skating at a sisterhood event, or even just chatting in the meal plan line with Chef Jess, every moment spent in Alpha Gam feels so authentic. I truly feel so safe and supported in our chapter, and I am incredibly lucky to get to call such genuine and compassionate people my friends for life.

As cheesy as it sounds, being a part of Alpha Gam has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my time in college, and I’m so happy I got to share bits and pieces of our sisterhood with you.
